99.9 Fear FM
Set Graphics & Prop Design
Role: Set Graphics Artist & Props Master Project Type: Horror Anthology Series Year: 2024
Developed a collection of practical graphic assets that transformed a fictional radio station into a tangible place, using typography, aging techniques, and environmental storytelling to reinforce the series' unsettling atmosphere.
99.9 Fear FM is a horror anthology series centered around a mysterious late-night radio station broadcasting stories of the supernatural and unexplained. As Set Graphics Artist and Props Master, I was responsible for designing physical graphics and printed assets that helped establish the station's identity and enhance the atmosphere of the production.
The completed graphics became a recurring visual element throughout the series, helping establish the identity of the fictional station and contributing to the immersive atmosphere of the production.
Creative Workflow
From Traditional Drawing to Production Graphics
My design process is rooted in traditional artistic training. Rather than beginning with templates or stock assets, I develop ideas through drawing, painting, and composition studies before moving into digital production. Procreate allows me to retain the tactile, illustrative qualities of traditional media, while Canva provides an efficient and accessible platform for preparing production-ready graphics. Together, these tools allow me to bridge classical artistic techniques with modern design workflows.
While 99.9 Fear FM was completed as a production project, it was not released for public distribution. As a result, footage and final episodes are not available for viewing. The work presented here showcases my original graphic design, prop, and environmental storytelling contributions created for the production.
