Data Center Contractor Mural
Thoughtfully crafted to elevate what matters most.
This mural was commissioned for a temporary office space supporting a large-scale construction and infrastructure project. Although the office itself was transitional, the goal of the piece was to bring color, movement, and a stronger visual identity to an otherwise utilitarian environment, transforming the workspace into something more energized, memorable, and reflective of the scale of the work taking place within it.
In developing the concept, I was interested in the idea of power in both its literal and symbolic forms. The project itself was tied to electrical infrastructure and the systems required to support a highly technical build, so I used that visual language as the foundation for the mural. Drawing from references to circuitry, current, industrial structures, and the flow of electricity, I created a composition that emphasized motion, force, and interconnected systems.
Although the mural was created for a temporary office, the project demonstrates my interest in environmental artwork that responds directly to place, function, and audience. Rather than treating the wall as a neutral surface, I approached it as an opportunity to give a transitional workspace a stronger sense of character, purpose, and energy.
